Services in the Directory
Four kinds of solar panel care show up across the companies listed here. Some companies offer one. Others offer all four.
Solar Panel Cleaning
Solar panel cleaning, sometimes called solar panel washing, removes the dust, pollen, bird droppings, and grime that settle on the glass and cut output. Most companies use purified or deionized water and soft brushes. Pressure washers, abrasive brushes, and harsh chemicals can void a panel warranty, so ask what a company uses before booking. The cost guide covers what a visit typically runs.
Solar Panel Maintenance
Maintenance is the ongoing care a system needs beyond cleaning: checking that mounting hardware is tight, confirming inverters and connections are working, and reviewing production against what the system should be making. Many companies offer recurring plans that bundle cleaning and inspection on a set schedule. The maintenance guide explains what to expect.
Solar Panel Inspection
An inspection is a visual and performance check of the array, wiring, and mounting. Most systems need one a year, and any system should get one after hail, high winds, or nearby wildfire. It catches loose hardware, wear, and output drops while they are still cheap to address.
Bird Proofing
Bird proofing installs mesh around the edges of an array so pigeons and other birds cannot nest underneath. Nests trap droppings and debris against the roof and can damage wiring. Listings note bird proofing where a company offers it. The bird proofing guide covers how it works and what it costs.
Service menus differ from company to company, so check each listing before reaching out.
About the Directory
What SolarCleanHub is, what a listing shows, and what to do when your area is not covered.
What areas does SolarCleanHub cover?
Metro pages cover major solar markets in California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, and Florida. Each metro page includes the cities and suburbs around it, not just the city itself. Companies located outside those metro areas appear on the all locations page.
What does a company listing show?
Business name, phone number, website, and some of the services the company offers, such as bird proofing or inspection where a company provides them. Service details differ from listing to listing, so check the listing before you call.
How do I contact a listed company?
Directly. Every listing shows the company's phone number and website. Call or visit the site, ask your questions, and get a quote from the company itself. SolarCleanHub is not part of that conversation.
Does SolarCleanHub provide quotes or book appointments?
No. SolarCleanHub is a directory. It does not give quotes, schedule visits, or take payment for any service. For a rough price before you call, the cost guide includes a calculator based on your system size and roof.
What if my location is not listed?
Open the metro page closest to you. Companies on a metro page usually serve the surrounding cities, and many travel further for larger jobs. If your state has no metro page, the all locations page lists every company in the directory by state.
How are companies added, and can a company claim its listing?
Listings start from public business information and are added market by market. A standard listing is free and stays free. Featured placement is a paid, clearly marked row at the top of a metro page; it changes where a company appears, not what its listing says. Companies can claim an existing listing or add a new one on the For Solar Cleaners page.
