A directory built for
solar-first homeowners
SolarCleanHub connects homeowners and businesses with trusted solar panel cleaning professionals across the largest solar markets in the United States.
Why I built this
I live in Los Angeles, and I take my dog on walks every day. It's one of my favorite parts of the routine — and when I'm out, I can't help but notice all the homes and buildings with solar panels. They're everywhere, and honestly, I love seeing that. Green tech powering entire neighborhoods is something I genuinely get excited about.
But I started noticing something else too. A lot of those panels looked dirty — dusty, streaked, clearly not being maintained. And that got me thinking: most people probably have no idea how much output they're losing, or even where to start when it comes to finding someone to clean them.
That's where SolarCleanHub came from. I wanted to build something useful — a straightforward place where homeowners could find the right professionals without digging through Google Maps or hoping for the best. And on the flip side, a place where the businesses doing this honest, valuable work could actually be found.
To me, this is about more than just a directory. It's about contributing to something that matters. Solar is abundant, clean, and increasingly everywhere — it deserves to be properly maintained. SolarCleanHub is my small part in making sure it is.
Making solar maintenance simple
SolarCleanHub was created to remove the guesswork from finding solar panel cleaning services. As solar adoption grows, so does the need for proper maintenance — and finding the right provider shouldn't be harder than it needs to be.
Our mission is to connect people with reliable professionals who keep solar systems operating at peak efficiency, extending the life of the investment and maximizing energy return.
Dirty panels cost you money
Solar panels are constantly exposed to dust, pollen, bird droppings, and environmental debris. Over time, that buildup quietly reduces output — often without the homeowner noticing until it shows up on the electricity bill.
- ⚡ Soiled panels can lose up to 25% of their energy output depending on local conditions
- 🛡️ Regular cleaning protects long-term system performance and panel lifespan
- 💰 A single professional cleaning often pays for itself within one to two billing cycles
- 🔍 Specialists can spot damage, debris buildup, and early performance issues while on-site
